I found Alpha when Hope West Des Moines had their ministry fair of all the opportunities available to members. I had just become a new church member with my parents. My experience with Alpha was amazing. I met an amazing group of people. I keep in contact with my small group members, and I have been re-immersed in learning about church and the Bible. I had been out of touch for a while and was interested in getting back to church. Alpha seemed like the best way to do this. The Holy Spirit Retreat was amazing. I truly had an amazing time and learned a lot. I have truly enjoyed the experience of the Alpha class, so much so that I have signed up to do the next in-person session. If you are looking to learn more about church, whether you are a beginner or an experienced Christian, Alpha is a great way to go.
