In a few weeks, the former Peddler’s Pack building will reopen as Ate-Oh-Ate, a Hawaiian restaurant from the same family as Big’s Chicken, Your Neighborhood Restaurant Group, which also runs Laurelhurst Market, Reverend’s BBQ and Sandy O’s sandwich shop.
When it opens later this month, the Hawaiian restaurant with locations at 2454 E. Burnside St. and 5200 S.E. Woodstock Blvd. will become the latest Portland restaurant to expand to Central Beaverton.
That collection of mini chains already includes nearby locations of Afuri, Loyal Legion, Top Burmese, Burnside Brewing, Ranch Pizza, K-Town Korean BBQ, Pho Oregon, Sizzle Pie, The Whole Bowl, Magna Kubo, Pip’s Original Donuts & Chai as well as Bamboo Sushi and Salt & Straw outposts at Cedar Hills Crossing mall.
