#Shoutout to #YorkRegionalPolice for showing my family, my friends, the black community and our community at large, so much love at there #BHM celebration. Nothing like being honoured at home in front of your family and friends by people who know you best. I am #grateful #humbled #honoured. In a time when #PoliceBrutality is so rampant it is great to see the work that #YRP puts in to build #bridges and #relationships with communities and individuals who once feared the police. YRP has purposely and intentionally hired qualified #women and #men from all of Canada's culturally diverse communities to join the force and serve one of the most #multicultural places in the world. I believe that #MartinLutherKing, #RosaParks, #Ghandi and all who fought for #CivilRights, were proud on Saturday to see how far we have come, and how committed #YRP and our community are to continue to work together to achieve the shared #goal of "being the change we want to see in the world." #Blessed #God #Thankfu...
