Repost from mmitigerxc • Friday, October 30th proved to be a solid day for the MMI Tigers at the ACCC/Region 22 Cross Country Championships! The Men & Women both finished Runner-Up as a team. The Men were led by Freshman Orrin Miller with a time of 28:11. Finishing as the 5th runner across the line earned Orrin All-Region Honors. The women were led by Freshman Hope Shales in a time of 19:48. Hope crossed the line well over a minute ahead of the nearest competitor, locking up the individual Conference/Regional Title and earning All-Region honors. Hope was also named the ACCC/Region 22 Runner of the Year! Freshman Emma Turner was the second lady tiger across the finish line in a time of 22:10. Emma's 8th place overall finish landed her All-Region honors as well. The rest of the Tigers collectively put down several new PR'S & season bests.
