Repost from mmitigerxc • It was perfect conditions to have a great Meet this morning! The UAH Charger Open blessed us with 58° temperatures & overcast skies on this September morning in Alabama and resulted in a great Meet for our MMI Tigers! The Men finished 10th overall, led by Sophomore, Aaron Brown who finished in a Personal Best time of 27:56 for the 8k race. The additional six Freshman guys had great races in their first time ever running a collegiate 8k race. The Women finished 9th overall, led by Freshman, Hope Shales in an MMI School Record time of 19:14 for the 5k. Emma Turner, Bridget Wheeless, and Anamaria Schur all had BIG PR's ranging from 30 seconds to 1:15 and Ryane Cornog, Gita Goldberg, and Reva Goldberg all had BIG Season Bests times today!
