Congrats to SOPH Distance Runner Kendall England on signing his scholarship paperwork with the University of Montevallo Track & Field/XC program! Kendall will graduate with his Associate's degree in the Spring and join the Falcons in the Fall of 2020. Kendall made huge improvements over his two years competing for the MMI Tigers, taking his first ever 8k in September of 2018 in a time of 31:12 down to a Personal Best of 28:53 before the end of his Freshman season. He would exceed his Freshman season, crushing that time midway through his Sophomore season, running an 8k Personal Best time of 27:15 at UAB's Blazer Invitational on the University of Montevallo Cross Country Course. He followed that performance up with another solid run on the same course in muddy conditions the very next week, finishing 7th overall in the Conference Championships, making him All-Conference.
