The MMI Ethics Bowl team competed for the first time in the Two-Year College Ethics Bowl last weekend at Weber State in Ogden, Utah. The team, sponsored by MMI instructor Dr. Spewak, did well in their first competition, winning one of the rounds. The team had to present arguments on whether countries acting as tax havens should receive foreign aid, whether there is anything wrong with identifying as a member of a race other than the one you were born into, and what changes to elder care are morally required as human lifespans continue to grow. The team consisted of cadets (left to right in the cover photo) Jathen Betterton, Jessica Steger, Kevilyn Frazier, Maximillan Renfro, and
Jaden Allison.
