In Ireland, BBC News NI reporter Kevin Magee invited Dr. Sherling and the MMI Gaelic Club cadets to a private premiere of his new BBC documentary “Searching for Annie,” a movie that is based on the famous American artist, Rockwell Kent, who spent many years in Glencolmcille painting the people and beautiful landscape. In attendance was Consul General Daniel James Lawton from the United States of America (Belfast, UK) and the Minister Counselor of the Russian Embassy (Dublin, IE), Alex Timofeev. The cadets loved Magee’s film about Kent and Glencolmcille, asking to hike to the sites of his most famous Irish paintings.
