Congratulations to Cameron Thompson, the recipient of the Rane Future American Warrior Award! This award, created by BG “Doc” Bahnsen and newly named after Anthony J. Rane, the father of Jimmy Rane ‘64 who currently serves as the chairman for the Marion Made Capital Campaign, is given out to a cadet who exemplifies physical and mental toughness, athletic prowess, and the bravery to serve at the tip of the spear. Swampfox Thompson is well-deserving of this award and will no doubt live up to its expectations as he continues his career journey at West Point next semester. He was surprised by his father and sister upon receiving the award.
