In honor of American veterans, the Corps of Cadets teamed up with local schools to parade through downtown Marion yesterday afternoon. Despite the chill in the air, there was a tremendous turnout from the community with a large number of veterans in attendance. To some, it might seem like just another parade. But to the patriots and veterans, it was so much more. In attendance were veterans from WWII who watched with great-grandchildren at their feet, as well as vets from our current wars in the Middle East.
