Carlos Bell, freshman basketball player from Bessemer, was named ACCC Player of the Week for January 30-February 5. As a forward, Bell helped earn the Tigers a 2-0 record last week, averaging 15 points, 9.5 rebounds, 2.0 blocks, and 1.5 assists. Bell shot 64% from the field and 90% from the free throw line. The Tigers are currently 22nd in the Nation with only six games left in the season before the tournament!!! They take on Gadsden State tomorrow away.
