Through the combined efforts of Cadets, the MMI Family, the Marion Community, West Point moms across the country, but most importantly, through the efforts of Susanna Barnes, we have just mailed 166 "Boodle Boxes" to an entire company who are actively serving the U.S. Army in the Middle East. These soldiers will not be able to make it home for the holidays, so these boxes filled with all kinds of goodies will hopefully give them a bit of home this Christmas. MMI Cadets wrote 166 letters and a local Girl Scout troop even contributed. What a wonderful, generous and simple way to let the troops know that we appreciate their efforts, dedication, and daily sacrifice. Thank you Susanna (mom of a West Point grad) for bringing this worthy cause to our attention--a cause that started with a group of West Point moms a few years ago.
