I heard it was #internationaldogday today, so here are some fond memories. I had #dachshunds for 18 years. I got them when I was quite young; I didn’t know anything about dog breeds, or training. I liked them because a lot of 1930s and 40s movie stars had them! Well, let me tell you, they ran my household 😂 I’m sure other #doxie owners can relate. They’re so fiercely loyal, and hilariously stubborn, and I came to learn they were among the most challenging breeds to train. My dogs were Greta and Eva, and for a while I had a menagerie of six pets. I know I seem like a crazy cat lady with aleistervonteese and mademewsellevonteese but the truth is I just love animals, especially doglike cats... which is a trait of a #devonshirerex I know there are lots of animal lovers here, I love hearing about yours. 💛
