My earliest and favorite technicolor musical memory above all others is “Here’s to the Girls” from Ziegfeld Follies. I know I’ve posted about it before, but while revisiting my faves while staying home, I thought I’d post again. ⁣ ⁣ An all-star tribute released in 1946, the film opens to Ziegfeld in his lavish apartment in heaven reminiscing about his early showbiz days, and the first follies show he did in 1907. He imagines what it would be like to produce just one more...
