Flashback to the #90s wearing what I still consider to be my favorite #vintage hat, a rare tilt fedora of beige felt with a colorful parrot on it. I loaned out this hat for the stephenjonesmillinery Anthology of Hats exhibit at the V&A a few years ago. This photo was taken on 35mm film at my house with my #1939 Chrysler New Yorker. This was at a time when I used to dress in head to toe vintage and drove this car out swing dancing in the mid-90s. My dance partner would get pissed off at me for wearing hats...but I preferred dances smooth balboa and collegiate shag to hat-disturbing Lindy Hop or Western Swing anyway. 📷by Sean McCall.
