With a new century comes new achievements. Wes Moore came onto the scene in 1998 bringing with him success from Maryville College and Francis Marion. He continued that success at Chattanooga claiming 12 Southern Conference regular season titles and advanced to the postseason 13 times in his 15 seasons at the helm, including nine NCAA Tournament appearances. He is the only coach in NCAA history to take three teams from each division to the NCAA Tournament and one of at least three (Kellie Harper, Jim Foster) to take four teams to the NCAA postseason. The biggest change for Chattanooga during Moore's tenure was the move from Big Mac to the Roundhouse. From the cozy confines of Maclellan, the Mocs made The McKenzie Arena home and have filled it with fans ever since including more than 10,000 to cheer on the Mocs against Top Five Tennessee.
