April is #NationalCarCareMonth & our friends mactools38 want to share with you the importance of wheel safety. Proper torque is the most important part of wheel installation. Most modern cars require somewhere between 60 ft/lbs and 120 ft/lbs of torque to properly tighten the lug nuts. Using more than the required torque can damage threads, break bolts, and even warp the brake rotors. Not applying enough torque can lead to a wheel falling off while in motion. There are several ways to ensure that the wheel lugs are torqued to the correct specification. But the best method is to use a hand torque wrench. #StayTuned for more tips and tricks from our sponsors during National Car Care Month! #NHRA #MacTools #GreatToWorkWith
