As part of the Campus Pride Month celebration, the Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity held its annual Pride HUB Takeover from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday.
Resource tables were spread throughout the HUB-Robeson Center for students to learn more about campus groups and their involvement in Pride and also play games for prizes.
Haleigh Hainsey is a student worker at the Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity who praised Penn State’s decision to hold a Pride Month during the school year.
“A lot of students don’t have accepting families or aren’t around in June, so we do it in April,” Hainsey, a fourth-year studying geography, said. “That way everyone has a chance to feel included here at Penn State.”
