For those who say the stars must align perfectly for their wedding day, on April 8, that is all but guaranteed to happen. ⁠ ⁠ Couples timing their big day to the once-in-a-lifetime celestial event will descend on Tiffin, Ohio, an unassuming, charming Midwestern town that will transform into a Vegas-esque wedding capital on eclipse day. Tiffin will host a mass marriage and vow-renewal ceremony for about 150 couples.⁠ ⁠ Couples are also flocking to Russellville, Arkansas, for a similar affair (dubbed, perfectly, A Total Eclipse of the Heart). Over 216 have signed up to take the marital plunge at a weekend event with full-blown state fair vibes, complete with live music, escape rooms, axe throwing, food vendors, and a cornhole tournament.⁠ ⁠ It’s all in the name of love—and both Russellville and Tiffin are making it as easy as possible to get the deed done.
