During February winter break, a student group traveled to Guadalajara, Mexico as part of our CHS Companions Program in which juniors respond to the Ignatian call to service via immersion trips.
Led by teacher and campus minister Dr. Joseph Amuso and counselor Annette Sugg, students assisted students at Ciudad de los Niños, a Jesuit-run school for disadvantaged children, preparing food and providing personal care items and also putting on a presentation. Students also provided help to FM4 Paso Libre, a support group for migrants.
The Class of 2025 students on the trip were Joseph Bayer, Angel Lopez Castillo, Joseph DenHaese, Jack Ganci, Brody Herrmann, Henry Kumiega, Andrew Mineo, Giacomo Pili,Jack Riley and Cormac Schaeffer.
