You can barely see them. If I didn’t mention them, you probably would’ve never seen them. . The little white specs on my back - the last of my “scars” from my very first psoriasis flare up. I didn’t even know they were there until I saw these pictures. Like I’ve said before, I embrace these marks because: 1. They bring me no pain 2. They tell my story of my struggle with psoriasis 3. They give me a little character 😜 Even when my flare ups were at my worst and SUPER painful, people would tell me that they would’ve never noticed the marks on my skin if I didn’t mention them. That’s how “flaws” work. We are our own worst critic. We pick ourselves apart until we can’t stand it. Practicing the opposite of this, reminding yourself that nobody looks as close as you do and embracing any “imperfection” will lead to a much, much happier mind and life. .
