I came up with the name for She Is Fierce! before my own little girl entered my life... But man, does she epitomize a #FierceGirl. I love seeing how younger generations are able to stand up for themselves in ways we were told were "too harsh" or "unladylike." I love being a mom to a fierce child who wakes up either jumping for joy or already arguing like the best lawyer for why she really shouldn't have to go to school that day. Do you ever think about the advice you would give your younger self? Or how you can help your own daughter/niece/friend skip over some of the same pain you have had in your own life? We can't protect them from everything, but we can sure try. If I could give my younger self (and my mini-me) some advice, I would tell her: Start sooner, ask for more.
