Hollis Copeland never led the JSBL in scoring, rebounding, assists or any other individual statistic, but his impact on winning was immeasurable. He could guard 1-5 with the best of them and contribute in every facet of the game leading his teams to 4 JSBL championships. One of the legendary 1976 Rutgers Final Four players to star at the Jersey Shore, Hollis expressed gratitude to be apart of JSBL lore. We cannot express enough gratitude back in return to Hollis Copeland, a Rutgers legend, New York Knick, and an amazing person who took time out of a busy schedule to come down to the “55” event and banquet.
