A perfect 10. Despite trailing for 39 minutes and 35 seconds of a 40 minute game, Sterns Trailer came in with a knockout punch in the final seconds storming all the way back from a 15 point second half deficit to defeat Ortho-NJ. Sterns Trailer completed the 3rd undefeated season in the JSBL’s 55 year history finishing a perfect 10-0. They became the first team to repeat as champions since Sea View Jeep in 2016 and 2017. Shavar Reynolds was named playoff MVP for the 2nd year in a row joining Bob Verga, Terrance Bailey, and Justin Robinson as the only players to accomplish the feat. Sterns Trailer won their 4th overall title in franchise history. Joe Whalen won his 2nd title as a head coach (2002 with Cohen’s Optical). Congratulations to both teams on an excellent season and an exciting championship game. 📸 The Link News 📸 @coachtim_ #JSBL #JSBLHoops #ProAm #NJBasketball #SummerLeague
