The Shavar Reynolds and Jakari Spence firework show continued on the final night of the regular season as the duo combined for 98 points (53 for Reynolds and 45 for Spence) as Sterns Trailer bested the 3rd best record team in the league, Ortho-NJ, 140-132 to finish the regular season a perfect 7-0. Both guards have followed a similar career trajectory. Under-recruited Ocean County players that began their college careers as walk ons before earning their way on to the court (and ending up at Monmouth). One thing is for certain, as Reynolds (overseas pro) and Spence (Monmouth) continue to shine, Ocean County basketball prospects won’t fly under the radar much longer. #JSBL #JSBLHoops #ProAm #NJBasketball #SummerLeague #Monmouth #OceanCounty
