We're back with another #NewTarHeelTuesday! Today we're featuring Payton Salmonson, a jazz musician who graduated from Holly Springs High School. 🎷 Q: What inspired you to choose Carolina? I chose Carolina because of its exciting community, beautiful campus and facilities, and my interest in the many opportunities available both within Chapel Hill and across the Triangle area. Q: What's the most rewarding thing about being a musician? What's the hardest? I find the collaboration and community that comes with the creation of music to be the most rewarding thing about the art, especially in jazz. Exploring music alongside my peers is an incredibly exciting process. The greatest challenge for me is the individual side of musicianship.
