#MeetaTarHeel Augusta, a senior from Cary, NC, is incredibly involved with the History Department. She's co-chair of the History Club, senior editor for Traces, the undergrad journal of history, and a member of Phi Alpha Theta, the history honor society. "I have always loved to read, and I have distinct memories of visiting the library every week with my mom when I was a kid and checking out all the history books I could physically carry. I was fascinated by the great story, the "why" of the world, and I wanted to understand it all. I remember visiting the Rosetta Stone in London when I was in middle school and just thinking that if I could spend the rest of my life working in an environment like this, I would be truly happy."
