“Struggle is a never-ending process. Freedom is never really won, you earn it and win it in every generation.” - Coretta Scott King⁠ ⁠ These words ring true today. In honor of #Juneteenth, we reflect on the long journey to freedom and take action to continually fight towards dismantling systemic racism and building a more equitable future – starting with the present. ✊ This past week the Senate, House and President Biden passed the bill to recognize Juneteenth as a federal holiday. It's a step forward but the collective movement work must continue. One thing we might've taken from this is our voices and actions are impactful – let's further challenge the system and see just how close we can get to creating a world we're all fighting for. ⁠ ⁠ Same movement, different time. Power to the people.
