During my first three pregnancies I struggled with hypremisis gravidarum, and there were days where my body felt as if it were failing me. I knew that motherhood wouldn't be an easy journey, which is why after my third pregnancy with HG, I knew I had to make a change. What goes into your body is incredibly important for your overall health and well-being. After talking to my doctors, I decided that my diet needed a few changes and I became very aware of what I was putting into my body throughout my pregnancies.
Although I sometimes deviated from this strict routine, these are some of the key aspects of my pregnancy diet:
-I consumed only grass-fed beef, chicken, or eggs
-I limited my veggies to keep down sugar and starches
-I didn’t consume soy, dairy, gluten, sugar, or carbs
-I ate smaller, more frequent meals throughout the day
