It may not be a magical fairy tale at first, where you & baby gaze longingly into each others' eyes. Will you get there? Yes!! But (at first), there will probably be a little pain. Your nipples hurt (use lanolin or coconut oil! & even your own breast milk!), but ensuring that your baby has a good latch can severely cut down on the pain!
