You can only conceive during your "fertile window." So - what does that mean? There are only a few days each cycle where you & your partner can make a baby - typically the few days before ovulation & the day of ovulation itself! Ovulation is when a mature egg is released from one of the ovaries, which usually takes place near the 14th day of a typical 28-day cycle - but this varies from woman to woman! Some women track their cycle using basal body thermometers, some women use apps, some women track mucus , some use ovulation tests - but many use a combination of all.
