Today, we're addressing one of parents' biggest challenges - how to get their kids to eat more vegetables! Here are Colleen's quick tips:
1️⃣ Expose your child to a variety of vegetables from an early age, making sure most meals have a veggie.
2️⃣ Instead of asking: “What vegetable do you want with dinner?”, only offer a choice of 2 (ex. “Would you like peas or carrots?”) 3️⃣ Incorporate veggies into snack time alongside dips like hummus or salad dressing to make it fun, and rotate a variety in the prep of veggies from raw to roasted.
4️⃣ Keep in mind that kids may need to see a food several times before they’ll try it, so stay consistent!
