📣 📣  3 things you MUST do before you jump into an interview with a seasoned journalist. 📣 📣  1️⃣ Prepare a list in advance of what you want to talk about and what you don’t want to talk about i.e. what’s in scope and what’s out of scope.  This is particularly important if you have a deeply personal story or one that involves family or friends around you. You need to protect yourself and those around you by avoiding any oversharing that will lead to regret, harm or awkward conversations. 2️⃣ Prepare a list of steering phrases so that if a journalist does veer off topic you can steer them back on course.
