"As Small Group Leaders this past semester, our heart behind this group was more than leading our girls. We wanted them to lead each other. Prayer is an important part of our community and brings us closer together. We chose to initiate leadership within our group by establishing prayer partners each week. It started as words of encouragement and prayers through text messaging, but then it shifted to something bigger. They began to pray with and for each other during our group meetings! As they prayed for each other, it brought both encouragement to their hearts and strengthened their faith in the process. Throughout this past semester, we have witnessed our girls grow in both boldness and confidence; they have become leaders without realizing it." -Lexie and Dacaria .
