The coolest (and most traumatizing) camping trip yet⛺️😅 Bear Island was amazing and I would go back in a heartbeat BUT I would do many things differently👇 I would NOT: •forget bug spray •take 30% chance of rain lightly •opt for another beverage instead of packing a sufficient amount of food You are on a legit island. If you opt for the ferry ride, be aware that it runs on a limited schedule during the day. Once you’re there in the evening, you’re locked in until the next morning. You can take private boats or paddle but we don’t have a boat and we did not feel like paddling our gear 2.6 miles😅 At first, everything was amazing. There were only two or three other groups there so we basically had an entire island to ourselves. It was incredibly cool. In the middle of the night, we got a warning call about a storm heading our way.
