MUSC is seeking mental health professionals and trainees to participate in a research study at MUSC examining ways of addressing mental health in patients with aphasia. Participation is voluntary and participants will be asked to attend a 1- to 1.5-hour virtual group training session focused on ways mental health professionals can address the psychological well-being of patients with aphasia. Participants will also be asked to fill out surveys before and after the training. Survey responses will not be linked with the participant’s identity. Surveys should take no more than 15 minutes, so including the training, participation will be approximately 1.75 hours total. Participants will be compensated $50 for their participation.
