After leaving my old team I spent over a year training mostly solo. I can’t even explain how much better it was having a training partner for the last training block before racing in June. It makes the boring days more enjoyable and the tough workouts more manageable. My best tip for motivation has always been: get yourself a run buddy. Running is not an individual sport, it’s a team sport!
