I took on a big home improvement project this week that had my whoop asking “WTF ARE YOU DOING??” Sharing some screenshots of my days this week so you can see what I mean. Overall, my recovery scores took a HIT and my mileage was lower than it has been in a month. That goes to show how much my body was working outside of my normal training. Yesterday was the longest day with the most work on my garage gym project so decided to take a day off running and squeezed in some cross training. I am exhausted but SO proud of my creation! This week was a good example of how you can run yourself down for a few days, but this is NOT a sustainable way to live and train. I had to have some grace with myself this morning on my long run when my legs felt ☠️. I also kept up with PT because I cannot afford to let that slip.
