Letting go is truly an art. Letting go of expectations I think others have for me. Letting go of mistakes I’ve made in the past and letting go of the fear of repeating them. Letting go of jealousy of what others appear to have. Letting go of a sense of lack and the idea of scarcity where if she has it that I means I can’t. Letting go of that fight I had with a loved one so that it doesn’t bubble up the next time we disagree. Letting go is an art. Oooo sometimes I really feel more like an athlete than an artist. But this morning I woke up with “let it go” in my heart and the song from Frozen is really speaking to me so I’m goin with it.
