I wanted to be on this team so bad. After such a hard couple of years, we all wanted something to celebrate. But as I look at this group of women I know they will do a fantastic job of representing #TeamUSA in Tokyo. And when I saw this video (swipe right) of first-time Olympian valerieconstien with her family after the race I teared up because I have the same exact video from 2016 with my family at Hayward Field after making my first Olympic team (swipe right again). I know what this meant to her and her family. And I can’t help but be happy for her that she got to experience it, because there’s nothin better.
