WE CAN DO HARD THINGS!! kateplusfate and I have chosen UNTAMED by glennondoyle for our next book club read! 📖 I’m very excited to read this book again in preparation for our discussion. I first read it this fall when I was doing a training camp in Bend, OR. It was such an interesting time to read it because I was juuuuust beginning to wrap my head around the possibility of leaving my team, coach, and sponsor to branch off and forge a new path for myself. Now that I’ve taken that leap it’s so good to return to her words. Here’s something that stuck with me: “Every time you’re given a choice between disappointing someone else and disappointing yourself, your duty is to disappoint someone else. Your job, throughout your entire life, is to disappoint as many people as it takes to avoid disappointing yourself.” So many good nuggets in this book! I hope you read it with us!
