Birthday boy and his two favorite gals (I won’t say which gal is the #1 fav... 🐶 ❤️ 😏) I recently wrote an article for teamusa where I reflected on the best parts of 2020 instead of all the disappointing things that happened this year. There were a few athletic-related bright spots in there, (a World Record in the 4x1500 and going under the previous American record in the 3k indoors) but by far the BIGGEST and BEST silver lining in 2020 was the fact that I spent the majority of the year living with Kevin and Pie in our condo in Portland. After spending 9+ years in a long distance relationship, we were all of a sudden crammed into a 550 sq ft studio condo WITH a 70lb puppy WHILE working from home and not really being able to leave the condo... and we’re still dating! And we’re still in love! Phew! 🥵🥳🤣 Kevin is 29 today, and Pie and I are so grateful to have him in our lives. Neither of us know what we would do without him and we hope we never have to find out. Here’s to more family...
