It’s the last day to let your voice be heard in this election. This one is special for so many reasons, but a big one for me is that in 1920 the 19th Amendment to the US Constitution was ratified which granted women the right to vote and this year is the 100th anniversary of that day. It took years of work to get this done- years of marching, lobbying, writing, organizing, petitioning, speaking... And even then, it still took many more years until African American women and other minority women gained the right to vote. Honestly, I have not voted in every election. This is only my second time voting since turning 18.
