First week back with the squad! My body feels ready (albeit a little sore) to take on another year of training. Looots of recovery after the first workouts this week. Recovery for me means:
-Stretching and foam rolling!Especially in the afternoons/evenings after the day’s work is done.
-Massage! Both from a massage therapist and with my Hypervolt massage gun from hyperice.
-Collagen! My joints, ligaments, tendons, and muscles need help recovering and vitalproteins makes it delicious to do so!
-CBD! Both topical and oral products from terravita_cbd to help my muscles loosed and my mind relax.
-Pilates! I go in-person on the reformer once a week and do mat class once a week on zoom with katonapilates. Did mat class this morning actually!
-Meditation! I’ve been slacking on my meditation practice lately but I made a promise to myself to get back to 10 min a day every day this month to let my mind unwind.
