Been running this week too! My first week of break I only ran when I felt called to, which ended up being two 4-6 mile runs last week. This week I’m running every day but only as long as I feel like and as fast as my body wants to. •Monday I found some really cool (very tactically challenging) trails in the woods and ran for 45 min on them without falling or twisting my ankle (win!). •Tuesday I ran along the 101 for 10 miles, going way longer than I planned to simply because the views were delicious and I was having a blast. •Wednesday I did 5 miles on the beach in the morning and a 30 min spin in the afternoon. •This morning I woke up early and ran 7 miles before my pilates lesson. Next week I will start to build in a little more structure, giving myself mileage targets and organizing my week more around my training. I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to give yourself a break. It’s physical but it’s honestly more of a mental break that I really needed at the end of the seas...
