I haven’t had that much FUN at a track meet in a long time! After a little injury before USAs last summer had me going into the meet less fit than I wanted and then a big injury took me out of World Champs in Doha, and then the Olympics being postponed... I have been missing that feeling of outdoor track when I’m in shape and healthy and excited to race. Last night I ran close to my 1500m PR then came back for a 600m race and THE FIRST EVER BTC MIXED 4X4!!! (Split 57.5 in case anyone’s curious 😂) It felt like teamwork, it felt like community, it felt like competition, and it felt like just plain FUN! Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to put it together, our coaches and support staff and hosts, and thanks to shelbo800 for being a stellar pacer in the 1500!
