“The house don’t fall when the bones are good.” Trying to fill the cracks in my running foundation and make the bones of my running house solid so that when the wind blows I’m still standing. 💨 💪🏼 This exercise is a great glute activator to do pre-run so that my muscles are awake and firing when I start my run. Give it a try! Here’s what you do: Lay on your side with your bottom knee bent. Keep your hand on your hip to police the movement, making sure there’s no movement forward to back or any hiking up of the hip. Your top leg will be straight and long away from the body. Lift it up and bring it back in one fluid movement, then bring it back to start. Do 20 reps each side. Feel a little 🍑 burn? That’s good!
