Made a brave move on the homestretch with 400 still to go in tonight’s 1500m in Poland. Came away with the win and a shiny new PR! 🏆Here’s what happened... I made a promise to myself that no matter how I felt, no matter what, that I would not have a gap between myself and the leaders going into the bell lap. Gotta give myself a chance! But With 2 laps to go, there was a gap. I spent the next 400m closing that gap... then when the opportunity arose, I just took it. I went into the lead and ran as hard as I could that whole last lap. And never once did I look back. DONT LOOK BACK! Held off the other girls for the win and a new PR of 4:03.02.
