Racing xc again last weekend and watching all the #NXN action has me reminiscing about the good ol days with the #ladyNoles! • Cross country is so special because it's really the best chance us runners get to compete in a team sport. Everybody lines up together on the start line and you try to run with your teammates throughout the race to help you feel more relaxed and calm. • At #NXN I talked to some runners about what they do when they pass a teammate/training parter in a race. Do you say a word or two of encouragement? One team I met would tap the other girl on the hip as if to say "hey, come with me!" I love this teamwork!
