I hate the #zoo. Animals need more space to run #wild and #free but instead we let our children poke the glass and we do nothing. Yes, it is really cool to see these animals up close and personal, but the price they have to pay for our enjoyment is far too high. As a photographer being able to capture these animals from a close distance is wonderful, but it is so tragic when you look into their eyes and see the emotions on their faces. My hope this fall is to capture emotions from caged animals to raise some awareness for those who cannot see that what we are doing is wrong. #letthembefree #letthembewild
